I'm quite happy with the end result, but still thinking about stitching some sort of design on it.There probably isn't enough time anyway as I still need to knit the other one!

That looks great! Incidentally I got a bright idea to make fingerless mittens for my dad and mom (before they leave on Wed.?!) and I looked at those two patterns but wanted to make them in a larger gauge so I'm winging it right now. Keep us posted on the second one!
