a change of plans
So.... I had been getting nowhere fast with my Monk's Travel Satchel. I didn't like it. The gauge had changed, and technically the part I was working on was too wide anyhow and people kept telling me it wasn't worth all the work.
Then I needed some black yarn for a Christmas project, so...
The Travel Satchel is history. It is now the parts of a potholder and waiting to be sewn together.

I just had to laugh. I was thinking about doing a monk's travel satchel but I wasn't sure to whom I could give it so I haven't started one yet. There's a lot of seed stitch there..
Sometimes yarn just doesn't want to be what you are making!
